Customer Reviews
Fun build, looks cool
Got one of those Automotive Models, the classic car one. It was a pretty chill afternoon project. The metal felt sturdy, not flimsy at all. Putting it together was actually kinda relaxing, though some of the tiny bits needed a bit of patience. Didn't need glue or anything, which was nice. It looks really sharp on my desk now. Totally worth it for a fun little hobby thing.
Detailed model, some missing parts
I decided to try one of their Expert Level Models, the 'Space Exploration Model,' for a new challenge. Ordering was simple on their website, and I received an email confirmation right away. Delivery took about 9 days to reach me in California, which was okay. When I started assembly, I noticed a couple of very small connecting pieces were missing from one of the sheets. I contacted their support, and they were helpful, sending the replacement parts out. It took another week for those to arrive. The model itself is incredibly intricate and looks fantastic now that it's finished. The precision tweezers I bought separately from them were a huge help. It's a high-quality product, but the initial hiccup with parts was a slight inconvenience. Definitely not for beginners, but a rewarding build.
Fast shipping, good kit
I ordered the Aviation Model. It arrived quickly, well-packaged. The parts were all there. Assembly was straightforward enough. I'm happy with how it turned out. Good product.
Decent kit, slow delivery
I bought a Tank Model Kit from Metal Time. The quality of the stainless steel parts was really good, and the instructions were clear. The kit itself was a fun challenge to put together. However, shipping took nearly two weeks to get to me, which felt a bit long. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the delay, which was a plus. Overall, a solid product for the price, just be prepared for a wait on delivery.

I heard something about a newsletter sign-up bonus. Is that still a thing, and what kind of discount do you get?
My kid wants one of these, he's 10. Are they suitable for that age or more for adults?
Hey, I'm looking at getting one of these ship models, they look awesome. Does anyone know how long shipping usually takes to, say, California?
thinking about grabbing a few models, but my cart is over $50. do they offer free shipping then? or is that only with a coupon code?
Are these kits super hard? Like, I'm okay with models but not a pro. Wondering about the 'expert level' ones, sounds intimidating.
Does anyone know if tools are included with the kits or do I need to buy them separately? Don't have any of the specific stuff.
What if a part is missing when I get my kit? Has that happened to anyone? How's their customer service for that?
I'm looking at a couple of their train models, they seem really cool. Do these Metal Time kits require glue or anything like that?
